The rough-

Time for a quick breather at the Nick of Pendle.

The old and very slippery cobbled road between Ratten Clough and Sabden Fold.

Clarion House, Roughlee, a favourite destination of walkers and cyclists for over a hundred years.

We couldn't grumble about the price's of the tea and coffee, just bring your own food.

The obligatory photo of the food!

The group assembled beside Ogden Reservoir, before the ascent of Pendle hill.

The steep push up onto Pendleside.

Dug leads the way on the approach to Pendle House.

Here come the rest of the group in his wake.

A very convenient stop in Downham.

Our late afternoon refreshment stop at the Whalley Abbey tea rooms.
